235.
我们作为同参道友，应互相勉励，往菩提道上走，不要互相损害。我们要时时刻刻讲说佛法，口不说非礼之言、身不作非礼之事。
As fellow cultivators, we should encourage each other to walk on the Bodhi way, rather than harm each other. We should always explain Buddhadharma. Our mouth should not utter improper speech, and our bodies should not do improper deeds.
236.
修行要迴光返照，不是叫你放光外照，叫旁人认识我。
While cultivating, make sure to shine the light within, not outward, for others to recognize you.
237.
修道，不争没有魔；一争便有魔。
No contention, no demon. When there is contention, there is a demon.
238.
人交朋友，一定要选择良友、益友，不能互相狼狈为奸，以后大家一起堕落。
To make friends, choose good and virtuous friends. Do not collude with unwholesome friends and fall together.
239.
未修好，光还很年轻；少光受不住风浪。光圆满了，无欠无余了，这时才可放光。现在正在修行阶段，勿放光！
When in the stage of cultivation, the light you have is still immature; The immature light cannot withstand the storm. Only after your light has been perfect without deficiency, can you emit your light. Since you are still cultivating now, do not give off your light!
