9月18 日,嘉兴市“初中英语中考命题改革与课堂教学转型”专题研讨会在北大附属嘉兴实验学校召开,本次会议由嘉兴教育学院主办,嘉兴经济技术开发区(国际商务区)教研中心和北大附属嘉兴实验学校协办。来自全市五县三区的两百多位英语老师参加本次活动。活动中,两位老师的课堂教学精彩纷呈,专家的点评精准深刻,专家的讲座从中考命题、课堂转型的角度,进行了全面剖析。

On September, 18th, , over two hundred English language educators across Jiaxing came to Peking University Experimental School (Jiaxing) for a seminar on testing reform in High School Examination and classroom teaching transformation. In this symposium, we benefited much not only from the demo classes by two out-standing English teachers, but also the experts’ subtle comments and their high-caliber analysis of the testing reform and classroom teaching transformation.

本次研讨会由北大附属嘉兴实验学校英语教研组组长叶碧玲老师全程英语主持。

This seminar was presided by Ms. Ye Biling, head of the English Department in PKUES(JX) in the language of English.

活动伊始,北大附属嘉兴实验学校执行校长沈飞先生阐述了学校“传承北大精神,回归教育本真”的办学理念,学校立足传统,面向国际和未来,培养全面发展的人;从教师专业发展、学生发展、课堂教学等方面抓学校内涵发展,并对到场来宾表示了热烈欢迎。

The day commenced with a warm welcome from the principal, Mr. Shen Fei. He stressed the importance of carrying out English seminars for the development of students, teachers and the school. Peking University Experimental School (Jiaxing) is a Chinese school offering international curricula. Gifted with high-quality educational resources from Peking University and sophisticated management, we aim to bring the best out of the student. Open-minded communicators and reflective thinkers are what we expect the young generation to be.

来自嘉兴一中实验学校的鲁凯老师执教九年级听说课“problems”。他一改传统听说课教学方法,对文本和听力材料进行了独具匠心的处理,让学生在每个环节就事件的动态发展、人物内心情感有阶段性产出,最后引导学生达到本节课目标。课堂设计了环环相扣的10个问题,由简入深,层层递进,把握学生情感。而他精美的课件更是给在座老师带来了一场视觉盛宴。

Mr. Lu Kai, from Jiaxing No.1 Experimental School, delivered a demo of NSE9A M6U1 with an innovative teaching method. Based on his profound analysis of the conversation and focusing on listening, he divided the listening material into two parts and designed ten questions in a progressive way. These well-designed questions, coupled with dynamic multi-media and the teacher’s attention to the discourse meaning of intonation, pause or turn-taking, motivated the student to listen for the evolvement of the action and the emotional changes of the main characters.

来自嘉兴一中实验学校的齐娣老师和庄德华对鲁凯老师本节课的课堂设计思路进行了分析。张老师从 “巧,深,变,美,德“ 五个方面对这节课作出了全面剖析。“巧”在9个问题层层递进;“深“在深度学习,深度思维;“变”在听说评交叉;“美”在形象帅气,发音标准,课件漂亮;“德”在实现了课堂的人文功能。

This very demo was well received and highly spoken by Ms. Qi Di and Mr. Zhuang Dehua. Mr. Zhuang thought of the lecture to be ‘ tactful’, ‘ profound’, ‘diverse’, ‘aesthetic’ and ‘educative’.

来自北大附属嘉兴实验学校的彭春艳老师执教九年级读写课“problems”。她以思维导图为辅助,引导学生解读概括文本,并依照阅读的思维导图结构,写作产出他们现阶段的problems。在理解文本的基础上和贴近生活的主题中,学生们的阅读和写作兴趣充分调动,这也给在座的老师们留下了深刻印象。

Ms. Peng Chunyan, fromPeking University Experimental School (Jiaxing), delivered a demo of NSE9A M6U2. Via a mind map, Peng first led the students to figure out the questions of when, where, and what, and then went deeper into why and how. Based on a good understanding of the main ideas and important details, Peng led the students to transfer the specific situation to the students’ real life and write about problems of their own, which turned out to be a success. Moreover, the teacher and the students were in sync all the time, which is another reason for the smoothness of the demo.

教研员王惠华老师对彭老师的课表示了充分赞赏,并对英语课堂教学给出了建议。她指出,文本解读要以读为主,更加深入,提升学生的阅读力,在课堂上应有一个主题意义上的引领。王老师还从学习理解性、运用实践、迁移创新三个方面对学生思维的层次性进行剖析。此外,王老师还和老师们探讨了如何构建读写结合的智慧课堂,唤醒学生问题意识。

Ms. Wang Huihua, an English researcher from Jiashan, spoke highly of the demo by Peng Chunyan. Meanwhile, she afforded plenty of useful advice on English teaching. As she stated, classes of reading type should be concentrated on thorough reading, so that students will be able to develop this comprehension-based ability, practice-based ability and innovation-based ability, either by answering the questions well-designed by the teacher or by being stimulated to come up with questions of their own.

海盐县武原中学的陈卫斌老师为在座老师作了“中考书面表达命题与教学思考”的讲座。首先,他从中考出题的内容、试题设计、试题规则描述了中考命题的特征。其次,他对基于思维发展的读写课提出了教学思考,从创新,培养高阶思维,培养逻辑思维等方面讲解了应如何帮助学生思维发展。

Mr. Chen Weibin, from Wuyuan Middle School of Haiyan, delivered a lecture about the writing part in High School Entrance Examination. Initially, he expounded his views on the characteristics of High School Entrance Examination in Jiaxing and other cities alike from the aspects of content, design and rules. Subsequently, he shared his thoughts in teaching reading & writing class, which aimed to develop students’ thinking ability. To achieve the goal, he illustrated his ideas about how to develop students’ logical thinking ability.

海宁市教师进修学校的王建群老师围绕“3*3英语学科能力”,为我们讲述了英语教师教育学生“做人” 所需的正确价值观与“做事”所需的关键能力,包括核心英语活动、核心主题内容以及核心能力培养。王老师还为我们阐释了中考英语命题趋势,并给予了《考试说明》废止后的教学启示。

Centering around the 3*3 English Subject Ability Model, Mr. Wang Jianqun from Haining Teacher Training School put forward that English teachers should hold the value of educating students and acquire the ability of “doing things with English”, which includes the abilities of undertaking important English activities, sharing main topics and developing students’ core abilities. Besides, Mr. Wang demonstrated the trend of High School Entrance Examination and offered teachers the teaching implications after the annulment of guidelines to high school entrance English examination.

市教研员姚彬对本次活动作出了总结。姚老师首先对中考停止使用《浙江省初中毕业升学考试说明》 提出了见解和看法。其次姚老师基于今天活动的两节展示课,给出了自己的建议和希冀:希望老师可以更加深刻地解读文本,真正落实到课堂上对学生思维文化的引导。

Researcher Ms.Yao Bin made a summary on today’s activity. For the starter, Ms. Yao shared her ideas about the cancel of The Instruments of High School Admission in Zhejiang. Furthermore, Ms. Yao offered suggestions on today’s two demo classes and expressed hopes for future English teaching. She hoped that English teachers can study teaching materials more carefully for deep interpretation so that English class can aidto develop students’ thinking ability and foster their cultural awareness.

“问渠哪得清如许,唯有源头活水来”,今天每一位英语老师借此盛会共同探寻英语教学的“活水源头”,为新时代英语教学的发展与改革注入新的活力。本次研讨会通过研究中考命题改革,帮助老师解决了教学方面的一些困惑,对教师课堂教学转型提供了指导。相信在全体师生的共同努力下,我校将砥砺前行,不断构建大教育、大教研、大格局,增强交流,引领成长,追求卓越!

As a pond relies on the running water to keep clear, teachers renew their ideas through communicating with other teachers for sustainable growth. This symposium serves as a source of running water so as to invest vigor and freshness into our classroom. All in all, this symposium, through construing testing reform occurring most recently,helped solve the puzzles and problems teachers have, offering guidance for transforming English teaching. With the joint efforts of all the teaching staff, we are able to create the academic atmosphere of ‘diligence’, ‘precision’, ‘confirmation’ and ‘innovation’, which will boost the internal growth of our school.
