“全国青少年英语口语展示活动”暨“童声台奖”海峡两岸青少年英语交流活动鸣锣开赛。在刚刚结束的湖南省总决赛活动中，宁乡赛区希望英语培训学校选送的279名学生获奖，其中31名学生晋级全国总决赛。
第十二届“童声台奖”海峡两岸青少年英语交流活动，是一项全国性的青少年英语口语展示活动。举办十一年来，吸引了全国二十余个省市的几十万青少年儿童参加。大赛采取层层选拔晋级制度，分为市级、省级展示和全国总展示多个环节，有英文才艺展示、英文主题演讲等多项内容。选手们一路过关斩将，上千名学生在市级展示活动中获奖，更有高达279名学生在省级展示活动中获奖。其中，31名学生晋级全国总展示活动，他们将于8月与全国各地的选手共聚北京，互相交流，共同学习。
本次活动，充分展示出宁乡孩子们扎实的英语基础及较高的综合素质。今后，宁乡赛区组委会宁乡市希望英语培训学校教学团队，将继续通过常规教学及各种形式多样、生动有趣的教学活动，进一步激发孩子们的学习兴趣，全面提高宁乡孩子们的学习能力及水平。
