日常生活中的实用英语@Don't Disturb, No Smoking!
我们学习英语是为了应用，让我们来看看酒店里常用的几句英文！
1、Do Not Disturb , 请勿打扰！
如果你正在房间里办公、会谈，甚至在“办事”时候， 可以在门外把手上挂上一个DO NOT DISTURB， 或者 Don't Disturb 的牌子，意思是“请勿打扰”！
2、No Smoking, 禁止吸烟！
酒店是公共场所，餐厅、楼道、大堂等场所是禁止吸烟的，因此墙上或醒目之处都挂有温馨提示： NO SMOKING！
2、Cautions, Wet Floor, 小心地滑！
这个温馨提示多出现在卫生间等地，提醒客人“小心地滑”！
Cautions, Wet Floor, 实际上是说，地板潮湿，须加小心！我们就把它翻译成：小心地滑！
然后，有一个贻笑大方的翻译是“Slide Carefully”, 这个可笑的翻译首先是错误地理解了“小心地滑”，把它理解成： 小心地 + 滑！
英文翻译时候又采用了“直译法”， 很自然地把“小心地滑”就翻译成了“Slide Carefully”!
这个翻译真是滑稽可笑至极，原本要提醒客人“小心地滑”，走路是要当心，而这下可好了，变成了“提醒”客人，你可以“滑行”，只不过要“小心地”滑呀！
英语翻译首先要正确理解中文，然后采用符合英语文化习惯的用语进行表达！高水平的翻译标准是“信、达、雅”！

祈使句：就是用来表达说话人对第二人称，即你的一种命令、请求、劝告、警告、禁止等的句子，汉语里也有祈使句，例如：请坐，快走.把伞拿上，等等。
同汉语一样，在英语中，祈使句也经常省略主语you.
1Do型祈使句
表示肯定的祈使句 ：动词原形+其他成分 例如： Sit down ,please.
表示否定的祈使句：
Don’t+动词原形+其他
Don’t open the door.
2第二类祈使句， No 型祈使句
No +名词/动名词
No pictures.（名词） 禁止拍照。
例：No smoking. 不许吸烟。
3第三类祈使句 Let型祈使句.let 是一个使役动词。
Let sb（宾语） do sth. 让某人做某事。 Let sb（宾语）not do sth 让某人不要做某事。
例如. Let’s go to school.
Let’s not go out.
英语：allow, advise , forbid, permit 的用法。 allow(允许）， advise(建议），forbid(禁止），permit(允许），这4个词后面接动词的…ing形式作宾语。但是，如果它们后面有名词或者代词做宾语时，则名词或代词后面只能接…to do的形式作宾语的补语。如：
1. We don't allow smoking in the room.我们不许室内吸烟。
2. We don't allow you to smoke in the room.我们不许你在室内吸烟。
3.I wouldn't advise taking the car.我不主张开车去。
4. I wouldn't advise you to take the car.我不主张你开车去。
5. The rules forbid parking cars here.规定禁止在这儿停车。
6. The doctor forbids him to smoke.医生不许他吸烟。
7.The doctor doesn't permit me to stay up.医生不许我熬夜。
8. I'm not permitted to stay up.我不许熬夜。
注意： 第8句是第7句变来的被动语态，第7句的宾语"me"成了被动语态的主语 "I"，这时 stay 尽管在permit后面还是要接to stay。因此，要特别注意在被动语态中，前面提到的这4个词后面要接to do，这种结构考试易考。
